I’m John Melahn, the founder and owner of Faithco, an electric, plumbing, and air conditioning services company serving Tyler, TX, Lindale, TX, and the East Texas area.
Electric Faith
I am a master electrician with over 40 years of experience in the residential and commercial electrical industry.
When I moved to East Texas in 2007, I wanted to start a business that truly cared for our customers and helped our employees grow to their maximum potential. The only way to do that was to put God at the forefront of all that we do.
Faithco began as an electrical services company. But when my customers began asking for referrals for plumbing and AC repairs, maintenance, and installation, I didn’t feel comfortable sending them to other businesses that may not demonstrate the competency or care for their needs the same way that we would.
So, I hired a master plumber and began offering plumbing services.
A year later, we hired a licensed AC contractor in order to add heating and cooling repairs, maintenance, and installation to our lineup of technical services.
Love One Another
John 13:34-35 (KJV) inspires the work we do at Faithco: “A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.”
We model God’s commandment to love in the way we care for our employees. So, every Faithco employee loves serving our customers with honesty, integrity, and sincere kindness.
We Wear Our “Hearts” On Our Sleeves
We don’t wear a literal heart on our sleeves, but we do wear a cross on our chests.
When “faith” is in your name, people hold you to a higher standard. That’s OK with us because we hold ourselves to God’s standard by loving our customers like Christ has loved the Church.
